The next generation of Call of Duty multiplayer has been revealed, and there’s a plethora of subjects for fans to talk about.
When Treyarch began talking about Call of Duty: Black Ops II early in 2012, it was clear that Game Design Director David Vonderhaar and his team wanted to steer Activision’s first-person shooter in a different direction. Incorporating a campaign with branching storylines, a futuristic setting and Pick Ten, a fresh take on competitive multiplayer’s Create-A-Class model, Black Ops II is arguably the most innovative and ambitious entry in the franchise to date. However, this has now more or less been debunked, with Activision listing all the newness we are going to encounter. “The new title delivers a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast of characters, all powered by a new, next generation Call of Duty engine that redefines the series for the next generation.” For the exclusive debut of the game, tune into Microsoft’s unveiling event for the next-gen Xbox on May 21 at 10 AM PDT, airing on Xbox.com, SPIKE TV, and Xbox LIVE. As for release dates, we’ve got those
