Activision today released the Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation DLC Pack to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC. This second DLC Pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts features four multiplayer maps, the hybrid “Ripper” SMG/Assault Rifle and allows players to become The Predator. Devastation also includes the next chapter in Extinction’s four-part story, “Episode 2: Mayday”, which sends players in pursuit of Captain Archer in an attempt to uncover what’s become of Dr. Cross.

In the aftermath of this year’s E3 expo, many are already hailing Electronic Arts’ forthcoming military shooter Battlefield 4 as a genre-defining blockbuster. The gameplay demonstrations presented by developer DICE two weeks ago blew audiences away with photorealistic visuals, dynamic destruction, and fluid, visceral infantry and vehicular combat… and we they Frostbite 3 to thank for it.
As many of you will know, Microsoft concluded its somewhat disappointing Xbox One console reveal event with the world premiere of Call of Duty: Ghosts, presented by Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg. It’s no secret that Sledgehammer Games, co-developer of 2012’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, is working on a new Call of Duty title. Job listings have been popping up all over the web since early February, including Gamasutra, and more recently LinkedIn. However, given the context of Call of Duty: Ghosts’ reveal a week ago, we’re baffled as to what it is Sledgehammer is currently recruiting for.
After Tesco Direct’s Call of Duty leak debacle last week, Activision has gone ahead with an official press release on the next installment of Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty franchise, this one titled Ghosts.
