Yesterday Square Enix launched a rather mysterious site, which has been confirmed to be a form of celebration of the 10 year anniversary of Enix’s merge with Square Soft.
Capcom has done it yet again. Mega Man Online is officially cancelled. According to Kotaku, a report from the games developer NeoWiz, states that Capcom, along with the developers themselves decided to completely drop the project.
Nintendo and Square Enix give us a small peak at the Dragon Quest X Wii U bundle box, which will hit Japanese shelves, March 30 in Japan. The Wii version of the game was released last year, and spanning around 300,000 Subscribers and counting.(more…)

Square Enix is soon to release the completely overhauled MMORPG Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, and as such Square has announced that the closed beta will start February 26 in Australia and February 25 for US and European territories.
Sony unveiled many details on their new console at the “See The Future” event today in New York, the console’s primary focus will be Social Gaming, in a sense that sharing your experience will be as easy as pushing a button.(more…)

As some Dragon Quest fans may already be aware of, the 3DS edition of DQ VII will feature a full orchestral score. But this wouldn’t be a reality if it wasn’t for series producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto who asked Dragon Quest long time composer Koichi Sugiyama if it would be possible to compose orchestrated work for the 3DS game.(more…)
