Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn closed beta coming this week

Square Enix is soon to release the completely overhauled MMORPG Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, and as such Square has announced that the closed beta will start February 26 in Australia and February 25 for US and European territories.

Beta Testers will have the opportunity to try out the Full Active Time Events (Fate) according to Vg247 is a new kind of randomly occurring event, that does not require you to be in a party to join in. Wondering into the vicinity will automatically grant you entry.

Check out the awesome gameplay trailer below, to get a taste of what square has done in the revamped MMO, also expect to see the full release of both the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the game in just a few months time.
