Yesterday Square Enix launched a rather mysterious site, which has been confirmed to be a form of celebration of the 10 year anniversary of Enix’s merge with Square Soft.
At first glance, and considering it being April 1st, one would think it was a prank, but the fact is, ten years ago, on April 1st, 2003, Enix ended up buying Square Soft, thus merging the company as Square Enix.
No further details as to what will be done to celebrate the merger, but we do know that there is more to come, and we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
