If there’s any invention Japan has been endlessly mocked for, it’s the full-body pillow that is often shaped like an anime character (typically female). This pillow, however? This is one ingenious pillow.
I can’t believe it took twenty entire years for someone to think of turning the Pokemon Snorlax into a giant pillow. It’s perfect. it’s adorable. And it looks sooooo cozy. Binge-watching Netflix would be great with Snorlax supporting your belly!

The Snorlax pillow is nearly as big as Snorlax is said to be in the Pokemon world: it measures four-foot-nine and the “real” Snorlax is six-feet-eleven. The Pokedex says Snorlax should weigh a thousand pounds, but fortunately the pillow isn’t quite that heavy — though it’s hefty for a stuffed thing at 26.5 pounds. Bandai is manufacturing the pillow and will begin shipping it in August, though it will take preorders now.
Currently Bandai only has plans to sell the Snorlax pillow in Japan. Want to import? I can tell you the price, but you’re not going to like it: 52,000 yen, or approximately 456 dollars. This isn’t including the shipping it would take to get this behemoth to your front door.
Snoring with Snorlax is a luxury only the rich will ever know.
