Mega Man Online Cancelled

Capcom has done it yet again. Mega Man Online is officially cancelled. According to Kotaku, a report from the games developer NeoWiz, states that Capcom, along with the developers themselves decided to completely drop the project.
Both companies have continually discussed to find agreeable points on quality, development time, communication and etc. Ultimately, both companies have agreed to stop the development of Rock Man Online last early November.
Stated by a NeoWiz spokesperson, with now a total of 3 cancelled Mega Man projects up in the air, i dont think anyone can predict the future of our beloved Blue Bomber.

Would it be possible that this all has to do with Keiji Inafune’s resign from Capcom, or is this all just one big coincidence?
