Ressha Sentai ToQger - Ep 3 "Desperate once Convinced"

Come on guys, at least censor that thing if you're going to keep posting it.

That is just tasteless and uncalled for. I am done with this show.

You have to be joking, right? While I'm sure the creators had some idea of what they were doing, it's not like the show itself was making penis jokes, they just "unextended" the train to break out of a trap and it folds back up within a matter of seconds. There's been much worse in Sentai before.

I enjoyed the episode quite a lot anyway. Kagura is pretty much a typical pink ranger, but I do like her whole gimmick of becoming stronger by being able to pretend she is. It's a bit more unusual than the typical "you've just got to believe in yourself!" thing and a lot more fun.

The show is getting progressively better.

The fact that Right ended up on the Shadow Line…I wonder if this means that Right will end up turning evil or getting brainwashed? It would be a great twist for sure.

I kinda liked how Kagura does her first solo transformation, but actually still acted out her part of the team roll call. She does her sideways wave thing and the whole "victoious imagination" bit. Quite a nice touch really.

Oh, and this of one of the very rare MotW where I just have to say how amazing the costume was. And the whole singing about the coffin he's dragging actually leant itself very well to the atmosphere.
Long live train wang~
Seconded. Clearly Right wants to ensure no-one thinks he's less of a man because he wears pink spandex once a week
I just realized that in ep 1, 1gô fell in the opening, last week 2gô and this week 3gô.
Yeah I only noticed that this time around too

lol this episode was quite funny and the shadow monster was kinda creepy anyway something that goes through my mind any time i see that fat purple evil thing on the enemies base is that well ya know how mid-end season theres aways a change in whos in charge of the evil guys well i think this time gritta will be the one that goes all like "This isn't even my final form" and become fabulously hot and conquer the heart of general germanamehere-sama

Well then, this episode is not getting an adaptation.

I'd argue that because of the poor design of the mechs and its publicity, they'd ditch the series altogether for adapting Gobusters instead. Despite Busters not well in sales, I doubt Bandai will be able to sell a Power Rangers series where the main megazord toy has the worst design choice if it is not transformed properly. If the series itself has more gags like this and characters as such, Saban and Toei could easily overrule Bandai and take a series that, to be honest, would have far more of a success in the West than it did in Japan in both ways. One in that spies are financially bankable and 2. the toy-line can be expanded to a spy theme.

Saban will otherwise have to cut around the mecha formation and any gags thrown in order to make this series acceptable to American audiences, let alone the controversy over the megazord and any dirty remnants left over from ToQGer. Between a series that had lower self-inflicted toy sales and a series that could prove as risky as Dairanger , I bet we're getting Gobusters for that very reason after Dino Charge.

Or they'll pull a RPM, not likely, but still, wouldn't be unwelcome.

Also, I'm really liking the mecha fights in this show so far. They're very... unconventional. I rather like it, it's a little more interesting then trading a couple blows and going straight to the finisher.

Yeah.... That's most likely not gonna happen

You have no way of proving that whatsoever.

Or they'll pull an RPM.
Oooooh I hope so!

I don't mind Kagura's gimmick but they really need to cut it out with the cutaway animation and sparkly bits... the second time around was okay in this episode. I'd like to see it becoming a thing where she gets 'too far in character' and has to be brought back to normal.
