HJU: A World We Have Forgotten

Here's a a spoiler bit for the first 2 episodes, just to help everyone prepare...

[hide]Episode 1 – Rise of KnightMare.
KnightMare begins their plan in harvesting new energy for “the darknessâ€. Reaching into the mind of humans and feeding off their nightmares and fears. The old riders find themselves being needed once more but are unable to call upon the power. New faces arrive, to answer the call and become Earth's new hope of survival.

Episode 2 – A New Generation.
The new generation kicks into action as they go to work, all goes well until the power fades once more. The older generation find it within themselves that they much teach the new generation the true abilities of their new power. They go to seek out of other members of HJU, to see if they're still around to help teach the new generation. A new fight and a new journey begins.

I want to start the episode with lead riders from from each series and myself (Nami), as we will be the guides for the new generation. Everyone else in the HJU Alumni (secondary riders and extras), will be on standby in their worlds until we arrive. The first riders to awaken will be Decade, Kiva and Agito.

The nerf for Decade this time around is that, in able to transform and use the abilities of other riders, the other riders must awaken their powers. If Name A can't awaken Faiz... no Faiz for Decade.[/hide]

Very interesting. I specially like the fact that the new generation has little control over their powers at the beginning.

The only thing that scares me is that the focus of the RPG ends up find its way back to the Alumni, and the new generation is left in the dust (unfortunately, I've seen it happen in the past).

When will the sing up thread be open? I have my eyes in getting either Decade or OOO :169:

I see your worry and I'm trying to work on this.. what I would like to have is the alumni to have little activity as possible. I know it kinda seems like disrespect since we started this, but I am trying to headline the new kids. Like... the alumni will just pop in... help activate the power... and disappear, or just be on their way. Like in Gokaiger.

I think I'm gonna have select people come back from their respective series. So only one, maybe three... if three... only 2 will show up for a segment and be on their way. The main person will be the one who helps activate the powers.

I think I'll go along with this, since we really don't have the participation of enough people to continue the current storyline

I think I'll leave my current characters on the backburner and go for new ones with new powers, since I only used the powers of riders who were created for movies and didn't have much to work with, so I'd like to use powers with more to offer

It really does. Thank you. I know that some of you have been developing these characters for two RPGs already, and it must be hard having to leave them behind.


I actually applaud the efforts Gokaiger is going through not to undermine the new team. A prime example was the Jetman episode, which, despite being all about Black Conder, at the height of the episode, he stepped down and let the Gokaigers get center stage. All the while we were getting some character development for Marvelous.

Though, as a fanfic writer, I like the way Decade went about doing it better, but that could not be applied here, so I'm happy with this.

I'll probably follow ClimaxHero's example, and put my New Den-o character on the sidelines in favor of making a new one.

Okay, lets just put this down.
Almost all of the alumni (most at least) have had their riders "modified".
So perhaps just having us drop teh riders we used to have in favor of original ones.
For instance RK.
Just having him drop being Decade (for the new guys to use) and having him be his own rider.
I think it would make it feel much more like we're passing the torch.
Almost like, using these riders is a right of passage and when you finish you realize through the journey who you are.
...
Does that make sense at all.

I like that idea.

An upgrade to Shadow Moon known as Knightmare Moon. :laugh:

I was wondering about the fact that many Riders don't have an "ultimate form" to use as the Hidden Power. So I thought that may we could add a section on the character's bio in which a players can specify what they their Hidden Power to be.

For example, for Kaixa it would be Break Form, but for Delta it could be the ability to call forth the Jet Slinger.

why not just give them an ultimate form.
This RP is no stranger to fan based forms so upgrading them probably wouldn't make anyone mad.
For instance, Orga getting the Accel watch or Sasword getting the Hyper Zector.

Personally, I wouldn't allow that unless they have an actual picture/drawing of it. If they do have an illustration, then by all means.

But, like I said, that's just my opinion.

Well, the Rider I'm going for has a picture of his ultimate form, but was never used in-show, so that sorts out my problem.
