Even though I don't have alot of free time, but I still play games. Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption, and LA Noire are all excellent games. I don't play online that much anymore after I quited WOW for good, but there are many mature, sophisticated games out right now and it is a shame not to play them. Btw, I don't play Black Ops or any online FPS games.
I did the mistake of reactivating my wow account >_> I mean it was okay since I just played on a alt... Then I reached the point of... Oh, Nothing to do as I hate PvP and cba to level another alt/raid. Though it saved me some money. Now come to me Skyrim! :castlerock: 3 Months!!
The last time I got that acrimoniously pissed off was playing Horde Mode on Gears of War 2 on Insane. My brother and I had just completed whatever level it is where the Locust receive double health and do twice the damage and we never won a single wave again. Cheating ass aliens...
I've never raged at a game, but when I get pressured in fighting games like streetfighter, my calm mode goes walkies and i'm on defensive-desperation mode.
Apart from that, when I was younger playing my japanese copy of resident evil 3, when your inside the police station and the Nemesis crashes through the wall holding a rocket launcher, I said, "screw that", turned off the game and never touched it for about a year.
I refrain from playing games online, specifically fighting games. Too many rage quitters and a constant flood of hate messages from people saying I cheat, I used a "special joystick", and that they let me win. The excuses go on... Now I just play with REAL friends.
I think the one time I ever REALLY got pissed at a game was when I played Mega Man X 6 and I couldn't get past the first area of Sigma's Fortress, or something like that. I'm not one to take video games seriously. If I can't get through something, I'll just turn the game off and try again later.
No word of a lie. This used to be me. For games like Mortal Kombat to Super Mario. I don't want to imagine what I'd be like for online gaming. I think I even damaged a few Genesis and Super NES controllers at one point.
