Ressha Sentai ToQger - Ep 3 "Desperate once Convinced"

ToQ 3:

- There's a bit of Gingaman in this show too, with the "heroes driven from their home" plotline. But it's not overtly trying to capture Gingaman's feel like Shinkenger.

- Red Ressha's wheel arrangement looks like the Pennsylvania Railroad's S1.

- What's the difference between leaving the train all the other times and how Kagura left now?

- Supergirl? DC will now sue Toei for copyright infringement.

Or maybe Kagura isn't imagining being strong, but is rather from Krypton >>

- Why would he not be fixated on coffins as a giant?

- Imagination Energy? That's a literal thing? :redface2:

How does that even make sense? The only reason people compare them so much is because they both look young. If anything Right is more like, say, AbaRed - he's idealistic, naive and energetic, but not as loud as a Ban or a Sousuke.

Aba Red? Deka Red? Go-On Red? Not sure I see it...

As for my comparison, it's not just looks. They are both unusually optimistic for no reason (a character trait of Alata that turned a lot of people off), they'll both probably be naturally skilled as sword wielders with no reasonable build up... But all of Alata's features are just because he's a pure hearted guardian angel; his status is like a mcguffin. Right's features are probably because he never grew up mentally as he got older. Also, he's a normal person who is "as good as dead", whatever that means. So I guess that kind of makes him more relatable?

Lazy people are too lazy to have imaginations? I wouldn't be surprised if that's the message. Japan can be funny like that with their little sayings and beliefs. Never forget the time I heard the common saying of how stupid people never get sick cause they're too stupid to know how.

Alata was not optimistic for no reason. He's optimistic because his unnatural intuition usually gets him through. That's unlike Ban or Sousuke who would rush in because moeagare.
