It's a shame that they never made timeranger vs goaranger or timeranger as a separate movie, I mean even if timeranger was a success they should still made a separate movie. Thats the only reason why I think timeranger was under rated.

Seeing a wrist changer again reminds me that there was a time when the most multipurpose thing you could have on your body was a watch.

Well, except for a swiss knife. I have seen watches with can openers and screwdrivers, though.

Now, that throne goes to the cellphone, and Sentai reflects that.

Timeranger is considered a success?

In the fandom, Timeranger was considered to be an incredibly successful sentai, up there with some of the great Sentai of the past such as Jetman, Liveman, Changeman etc. A superb plot, along with incredible characters and villains.

However, TimeRanger had incredibly low toy sales, and probably signified the end of the Wrist Changer era. After the GoGo Brace, the Chrono Changer was pretty bland, and it's toys weren't the best (I would know, I actually bought them as a child).

I want to say we've had some wrist changers after Time. Abaranger at least, I want to say Boukenger and Gekiranger but I'm less certain about those.

Boukenger had the accellurs, and while they were cell phones, the transformation was done by running the wheel at the bottom of the phone off of something, usually your own arm but occasionally stuff like the enemies bullets.

Gekiranger had gloves for the main three, a wrist mounted bell for GekiViolet, and a really bulky glove thing for GekiChopper.

Both Hurricaneger and Abaranger used wrist changers after Timeranger. Gekiranger had what I would describe as fist changers. Go-On Black and Go-On Green both had wrist changers as well.

I totally forgot the Wrist Changers in Abaranger and the wrist changers Go-On Green and Black used.

But yeah. I never purchased the braces in both series but they seemed one-dimensional to me.
