I just finished watching Timeranger, I just have to say it was an awesome series, I mean the whole series was dark i innocent people dieing and blowing up buildings. But it had very sad ending though like naoto dieing and tatsuya saying goodbye to everyone. I mean I almost cried watching the finale. The problem i had with the series though that weren't too many romantic moments between tatsuya and yurri, cause they showed signs of love with the last few episodes. But i have to say it was 1 hell of a series series much better than timeforce. What do u guys think???

I'm not even going to watch Timeranger.

I've already seen Time Force and I heard it's basically the same thing from many fans.

You know this is the kind of crap that really freaking annoys me. Time Force is not just basically TimeRanger. That you say you aren't going to watch it because of what you have "heard" is just sad. If some one tells you that a food tastes this or that way are you never going to eat it? If some one tells you a movie sucks don't watch it, are you just never going to watch it? Point being don't just sit around listening to what others tell you. That said.. Again. NO time Force is not just the same thing as TImeRanger, and honestly the only fans that would claim that are the PR fans.

Your so right. Timeranger is different from timeforce:
1. It had much darker tone
2. People dieing and even innocent people were dieing too
3. Even one of the heroes dies too, which was really sad
4. The plot at the beginning was different
5. The Ending was different too
6. The villans were different too and etc

Its a shame they never made a separate movie or even made a versus special with Goaranger.

Timeranger I must say is in my top 5 of Sentai I have watched.. I just finished it last month and I enjoyed everything about it the villains, weapons, suits. TimeFire is a damn badass. Gien was a damn robotic psychopath! It was dark and emotional but not to the point as a fan to start breaking down and cry over a fictional character's death lol I'm too manly! But when Naoto died I was pissed all because he could've avoided his death. Stupid Japanese Little Girls!!!!..Domon was my favorite Ranger he had a good and strong personality and tried to take the leadership roll of the group a few episodes lol

"Girls are like cars you need to know how to drive her before you can handle her" Ayase/Time Blue from episode 22 I think...that quote is most memorable lol

I highly recommend Timeranger if you either like Timeforce or if you just want to watch a good Sentai show

Um... I wasn't a Time Force fan (I found it overrated at the time, before I found out and really got into Sentai) but it did by and large copy a lot from Timeranger (even episode scripts and dialogue) and changed only what they had to. (Ransik being the only real exception.) There isn't a great deal of difference between the two. Even Jen's story is a tweaked version of Yuuri's, their motivations being the same.

So please stop with the blanket accusations like you know what you're talking about.

Well, I know Japanese, so watching this kinda bugs me, since the subs don't match what the characters are really saying. The story of course is still carried across, so it probably shouldn't bother a none-Japanese speaker. For me, this just looks wrong. :disappoin

Well that sucks really. I mean what did the guy who made these subs gained from making these fake subs????

Well are the subs quite close to what they are actually saying or has guy messed the dialogue up completly?????

Despite it having several elements and character types that I would dislike in another series, I absolutely love Timeranger and it is my all-time favourite Sentai. It is the complete package. I adore it and have rewatched it several times :anime:

It's also the show that actually kept me watching Sentai, since the only ones I'd seen before it were Magiranger and Boukenger, which I did not like

They are fake subs.

Please tell me something I don't know.

All i'm trying to say is I don't want to wait like 5-10 years or possibly more for the whole other series to be subbed by the proper translators. If these ''fake subs'' are really close to the proper translations, i.e using alternative sentences or words to get the point across on what they are actually saying, i would mind settling down with these subs.
