Mirai Sentai Timeranger - Thoughts and Opinions

TV Nihon is subbing Timeranger, although they are working at snail's pace since only two episodes are subbed thus far. I hope they will get to the rest eventually, and not abandon it like some of their projects.

I hope so too. But in the mean time, we still have to deal with what was found on CD Japan right here:
Timeranger DVDs
Or RRR's qualities of subs.

Ryuuya might have been one of the most dastardly villains in recent Sentai. Him and Long are definitely the greatest villains of the Decade. It was amazing see Nagai as the Red Ranger and the final villain. Well, not villain but the ultimate mastermind between sending the four to 2000, TimeFire and V-Rex and Gien.

LOVED Timeranger, if Masaru Nagai came back for Goukai, man, shows how Toei is really trying. If not..then...:[

Masaru Nagai seems to be trying to disassociate himself from tokusatsu, much like Odagiri. He's the only one of the Timerangers who hasn't appeared at fan events since :(

Yeah. I knew about that, but I'm just hoping for a miracle. There's contradicting rumors though, like if its actually the agency that Nagai is employed by that frowns upon his tokusatsu work.

If that were the case I don't see why they'd want him to go back to toku at this point in his career, even for the anniversary of Sentai. Still, we can hope ...

Recently, I discovered that Super Sentai Planet has subbed Timeranger eps, for the complete season. The drawback is that the quality isn't very good (looks like it was ported from VCD not DVD), and the sub is okay but not great. However, if you don't want to watch raw Timeranger eps, this might be a good alternative for you.

nah, I'd stick with the RAW episode. But thanks for the link.

I have no clue why they did that. Maybe it was a problem with the finance department, or they couldn't bother spliting the DVDs into different cases because the values weren't selling. How should I know?
