It isn't but there is a hell of a lot of references to Eva. And I'm being fair here. Not like that's a bad thing, the director of the show wrote for Serial Experiments Lain and was a fan of NGE anyway.

Anyway as to the earlier question about Frontier and Savers, I personally really enjoyed Frontier until episode 37 in which I just pretend they all went home after defeating Cherubimon because the story is just crap after that. I did like Savers. Not as much as Adventure or Tamers but I think it gets way too much hate nowadays.
