Than Naruto and Bleach? Hell, Dragon Ball is still running merchandise.

There are just some series that will be evergreens. The JUMP mainstays are there. I'll throw Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, and probably X on the pile. I'm sure there's more but I'm busy at work at the moment.

I meant on a more provocative standpoint. The JUMP series will always be very profitible, yes, but there vanilla anime, the filler overtakes the essential plot points. Heck, Dragonball Kai was designed to deal with that specific problem

So nothing on the news front confirming a new series yet. However, supposedly this article says that a new series is "thought to be a high possibility." (Don't quote me on that. The google translation isn't that great and the only other tidbits of translated info I've found is mostly hearsay. If some one can read and/or translate the article properly, please do so.)

On that note there are scans of a new Nintendo DS "Digimon RPG," tentatively sub-titled "Lost Evolution," presumably part of the "Digimon World" series. What's interesting is that the characters for the game are far more "Digimon-tv-anime-looking" then normal, perhaps this could hint to something.

At the very least new games are coming out, and that's hopefully a good sign that the franchise is still alive.
