Am I the only one who understood T.K and Sora's relationship was only made romantic in the U.S dub and was strictly platonic in the Japanese anime? I didnt mind her getting with Matt at all, it was the best thing about that train-wreck season. Digimon 02 really is ****.

He probably meant Tai, which was heavily implied more in the dub than the original version. We can thank Jeff Nimoy for that if I remember correctly...

Well, it's typical to the point of being expected in US productions that the male lead and female lead will couple up at some point.

It's not a universal trope at all. Anime had almost dropped it completely by the time Digimon Adventure was made.

I don't understand why Toei didn't just expand on the Digimon Chronicle concept and make that a sequel to Tamers.

Kouta , the tamer of Dorumon ,looks very similar to Takkato; Perhaps he would be his younger brother and Yuuji ,the tamer of Ryudamon ,could be a cousin of Henry. Shinji on the other hand could be the equivalent of Ken the Digimon Emperor of Zero Two with the exception that he has all Royal Knights as his Digimon. I believe that they could add the later made Digimon like Leormon, Fanbeemon, Commandramon and Falcomon (Digimon Accel version) newer tamers and or have Jeri getting a revived Leomon in the form of Leormon.

The story would be , I theorize , would have been in the New Digital World first with all the X Digimon and the newly created ones naturally with the X Antibody with the middle ,climax and subsequent finale jointly in the Digital and Real World.

Cameos of the older tamers would arise starting in the 20th episode when they meet back with their Digimon partners that now have the X Antibody. Suzie and those twins could be in it ,but I have no idea on how they would fit in unless the twins become the tamers of Commandramon and Falcomon respectively (Impmon's Digi Core separated between his good (Falcomon)and his bad side (Commandramon), causing inner conflicts within the group.
