It's because those guys already voice a character in Xros Wars, so they could easily throw in a voiced cameo for their old characters. Agumon is Shoutmon, Jou/Grani is Damemon, Tentomon is Dorulumon and Takuya is also Gomamon. So the only ones who were brought back and weren't already recurring XW cast members were the 5 leads and Ken.

Okay... so... Bagramon was the Clockman, which he gave the Xros Loaders to the new characters which he wanted Taiki (his enemy) to later join them, gathered the five past heroes just to kill the new enemy.

Bagramon's now good? I thought when Digimon die, they turn into data back in the digital world, and not humans.

Just finished watching last episode with subs. Gotta be my least favourite season.

I was really disappointed that the legend heroes didn't do anything much throughout the last 2 episodes. Perhaps the hype for it was too high for me.

And Bagramon becoming human is totally BS.

I too just finished the last episode, and it was the most anti-climatic battle ever

I feel bad for everyone who were hyped up for this series because the older heroes came back, even though 79 was as epic as hell

also when they showed all the heroes, why the hell was Masaru's eyes always fucked up? It's like they did some lazy drawing and decided to pass that
I have no idea what the writers were even aiming for for the final battle

also, even if Bagramon was the Old Clock Guy, wouldn't that have created another season to come? NO DO NOT MAKE THIS SERIES EVEN MORE TERRIBLE

The biggest part of this season that bothered me the most was that it had virtually no plot, but you had to watch every episode to make further episodes relevant because of the flashback, it was almost like it was relevant filler. You can't even put the words relevant and filler next to each other, it makes no sense

edit: also every time Taichi and co kept saying that "goggles are the symbol of a hero" I had to cough a good few times
