I bought 3 copies of Mass Effect 2 when it came out for the Xbox 360, one for me, and one for each of my boys. If I only bought one for myself, I’d have been killed in my sleep. Who says video games don’t cause violence? Over the months, the copies have dwindled down and suddenly there were no copies for my 360 anymore. Then to my great joy, Mass Effect 2 came out for the PS3 and I had a chance to run through the game on a different system.
You find them everywhere on the Internet. Whispers of dark doings by Governments around the world, shadowy figures that manipulate human events for dark ends, and the refusal of those in power to tell the truth; even when confronted with evidence. Every release by Wikileaks adds to the fire as we’re bombarded with the seedier aspects of our government’s behavior. If you spend enough time on the internet looking for the truth, the more you believe that there is none. Everything is a lie.
What the Heck Happened to GLP? Over the weekend of 2/5/11, the website GodlikeProductions.com disappeared from the internet leaving nothing but a cryptic MP3 file, and the words: “The Kingdom of God is inside you, and all around you, not in mansions of wood and stone. It’s no secret that Japanese role-playing games have taken a severe dive in quality over the last few years. NIER published by Square Enix and developed by Cavia is an attempt to bring classic role-playing games back in the market and with a vengeance. Does NIER succeed? Or fall flat in its attempt to create a classic experience?
