Who is the most violent toku hero?

While Kuuga himself is not THE most violent toku hero(though he does have his moments that would put Gills to shame), his series features some of the most violent fights in a toku series(at least regarding the Kamen Rider series). I would go so far as to say that Kuuga is the most violent Rider series.

While Amazon can be very violent, I can't help but think that a lot of the "violence" in Amazon feels "fun" and campy, and can be quite charming. At least to me it is, and I think it's due to the effects work.

Shin is violent, very violent, but he seems like he's just a wounded animal lashing out to the people that are hurting him and his "mate". He fights "violently" but he himself is not a violent person and won't hurt people more than they deserve.

So who is the most violent toku hero? Hakaider, I think.

we're talking about that part in which Decade transforms Kuuga with Final Form Ride and he activates another card for Momotaros to attach his sword to Kuuga through Kuuga's butt and you can see Onodera reacting to it.

That...is not violent. That was a joke. Some might find it distasteful but the intent was nothing more than to make people laugh.

Do you honestly believe this is an example of a "violent" tokusatsu fight? It looks an awful lot like you're just making a sodomy joke as part of an effort to ruin the thread.

Feel free to confirm or deny.

Do you honestly believe that this is not violent? I never called Decade's action a fight. He is a tokusatsu hero, as much as I would like to deny it, and he was violent here, so that qualifies. Calling it a sodomy joke just because you are narrowing the scope of the thread? You think of it as a sodomy joke if you want, but it's a violent action to me. You seem to be the one to be making an effort to ruin the thread by making such accusations.

Not original. Read this post from the top.

I don't, and I can't imagine why anyone would, but I thought you deserved a chance to present your point of view before any decisions are made about your posts in this thread. Thanks for responding promptly.

Of course, you're very much entitled to your own opinion.

This is just me, but I think the scene was weird and didn't take it seriously. It's very much taking the joke of sticking your finger up people's butts(which Japanese people seem to think is funny. No, I don't get it either.) a step farther.

I still have to say that I do think Seven may be the most violent, at least for killing his foes.

Well, depending on Guyver's inclusion.

I could list all of the different decapitations he did, or the time he drowned some one to death, or the time he just physically beat some one to death, or burned all of their flesh off or...

Instead I'll go with a different one.

He's fighting a tragic monster that cannot die. His arm has been injured.

So he physically tears the monster's arm off, beats them to the ground with their own limb, then slits their throat, the blood of the beast spraying him in the face.

That's Guyver levels of violence right there.

And this IS what I mean by violent.

The brutal ways the hero kills the villain.

What decisions? :eyebrow:

I didn't even know that the Japanese did that. I still don't understand why sticking a sword up someone's butt to use him as a weapon is not violent to you. It's not an act of kindness or anything like that. Kuuga got used as a weapon after already being harmed and that was being Decade's "comrade".

Burkion, it you could be more clear regarding your fanboyness. Keep narrowing the criteria until Ultraseven remains.

It is a very common comedy routine in Japan to prod someone's anal cavity with two fingers outstretched from clasped hands in a "gun pose" of sorts. It's very widely used in anime.

If you want an easy-to-find example, the 2nd or 3rd episode of Naruto (where Kakashi is challenging the team to retrieve the bells) illustrates this visual gag. Let's see if I can find a clip or image...

There we go.

I will admit, as a westerner this is....borderline revolting. But to the Japanese it's a gag, not an act of depravity or violence. Don't ask me where it came from...but that's just what it is. Cultural differences.

Thanks. Looking at it now, it may be a gag (a very strange one), but Decade did make it more violent. It's not just that he put something up Kuuga's butt; he did it to use Kuuga as the head of the weapon.

Whose bright idea was it to bring the sword up your ass joke from decade into a thread about the most violent toku hero? It was a gag...one I laughed at...profusely. I probably spelt that wrong.

I have the answers! Not sure if they count though. They were very toku to me anyway.

Grave from Death Trance.

Hyakimaru from Dororo.
