Toku endings that makes you very tearful...

Kuuga's finale always got to me, even though no one died in the end.
Ever since the first episode, Godai had been the optimist, the guy that made everyone happy, and despite all the **** that happened to him, he was still able to give his thumbs up and say "Don't worry"

Through the show, we got hints of Godai hiding his pain from everyone else, and in the final battle he had been pushed so far that he could no longer hold it back.
Seeing him burst into tears as he was fighting Daguva was very hard to watch. You could just tell how tired he was and how much he hated fighting.
And at the same time, you had Ichijou talking about how sorry he was for Godai, and that he didn't deserve that fate.

Even though we got to see Godai again after the battle, it always seemed to me like he had been broken and was not going to return to Japan for a very long time.

Jetman. Once the long version of the credits kicked in, I was weepy with gratitude.

Go-Onger. First series I binged on and got heavily invested in the characters.

Go-Busters. Same reasons as Go-Onger.

Honorable mention to Gokaiger episode 41.

Agito - great series, but the last three episodes:redface2:. Damn, it could have been THE series.

Shinkenger - felt so flat in a way, they just upped an left - honestly, I thought they would stay together in some capacity.

I felt myself getting a little misty eyed over GekiRanger, actually. In a good way.

Sure, the team split ways, and that was sad on it's own. But what really made it sentimental for me was seeing Rio and Mele reunited in the afterlife. It was a just a little detail that they did NOT have to include in, but they did. It was unexpected, but super sweet.

I think I also got a little misty eyed over the ending of Kamen Rider Double, again in a nice way. They could have ended the show without that final episode and it would have been fine, but they ended it on a surprising happier note. It was really nice.

A lot of toku endings make me tear up. I tear up pretty easily, though - the first time I saw Free Willy when I was a small child I cried for hours because I wanted the whale to remain in captivity, while my family just yelled 'BUT IT'S A HAPPY ENDING' at me in bewilderment.

Some particular highlights, though:

Kamen Rider Blade: Ridiculously tragic, but also perfectly fitting for the characters. We had an entire series building up Hajime's relationship with his new family, and his growing humanity, so it made perfect sense for Kenzaki to sacrifice his own happiness for Hajime's, especially since Kenzaki is just like that. That doesn't make it any less sad, though - it makes it more sad, actually.

Kamen Rider Faiz: Also sad, but in a different way. Half of the main cast are dead. The villains are alive and preparing to return. Takumi will die soon, and there's no way for them to avoid that. It's not a tragedy the way Blade's is, because it doesn't have that element of finality, it's more like there's a giant neon sign saying 'EVERYTHING IS NOT OKAY.'

Kamen Rider Blade: Seriously the ending (plus King form) are enough alone that I am able to overlook its flaws and consider it one of the best of the Heisei era.

Decade: Because it was such a waste of all that it could have been.

When I was a kid the Rodan movie choked me up quite a bit and still does to this day. That's such a horrible and sad ending.:bawling:

And being a father this scene always takes me there...even when I was little this scene made me misty as hell.

Even if you ignore what happened afterward, the episode before still kinda hits you in the gut.

And it's not an ending, but I just wanted to bring up the recent Kanpai Senshi After V episode was pretty heart jerking too.

I was going to say W too. Maybe because the episode that really gets me isn't technically the ending, but for me, I have watched the series through 3 times now and that episode still gets me every time.
