You know what?

After the shitacular crapfest that was Night Of Champions, I am quite honestly for the first time in my life getting bored and annoyed by wrestling

There's no gumshun, no creativity, and certainly no thought behind anything the WWE does anymore

These are the people that set the world ablaze with the Attitude era (mind you they stole that and more from ECW), and this is all they can muster?

Seriously?!

Wrestling doesn't need to be a family oriented afair, that's not what it was intended for

It's supposed to be grown men ( and women on occassion) beating the living **** out of each other, not a pussy slapfest where OHT3HNOES!!!1!! SURPRISE JOHN CENA WINS AGAIN OR REY MYSTERIO OVERCOMES HIS DEMONS THROUGH ALBERTO DEL RIO

IDK, I'm just tired

Tired of seeing the same old worn out pieces of **** every single fucking week

You can have her. I want AJ Lee.

Jay Lethal's sloppy seconds.

Yeah I know what you mean. I was really enjoying the beginning of the Nexus angle and recently marking for Alberto Del Rio when he debuted but now it's hard to watch SD with Kane and Taker having the boring-est feud of all time.

I just stopped watching. I give them the benefit of the doubt but not anymore.

I blame the PG ****, in reality.

Some of these feuds and storylines would be SHITLOADS BETTER if they were back to their good ol TV 14 rating, which would give the booking writers (who are mediocre anyway with or without the PG rating) the freedom to go ALL OUT like they use. Even in the Post-Attitude era of the WWE, it was never THIS BAD. When they started instituting the PG rating in 2008, the WWE didn't become as STALE AS THIS in terms of booking and storylines.........but they've been hardcore with this PG programming for the past 5-8 months (which is coincidentally the same amount of time Linda McMahon has been campaigning for her position as a Congressmen for Connecticut), and it's PRETTY FUCKING BAD.

I think that's the only thing you can like TNA about, the booking writers still have the freedom to go as crazy as they want without having a "family-oriented" limitation put on them. (There isn't even anymore "Bra and Panties" matches b/c of PG..........CURSE YOU FAMILY-ORIENTED WWE)

It's funny how internet fans think Vince doing PG was the greatest thing ever and he came up with it on his own.

He only did it to give WWE a new look since people were on his ass about the Benoit thing and Linda was running for senate. We all know how WWE and wrestling tried to sweep Benoit's death under the rug.

WWE's PG imagine has not increased anything quite honestly. I remember in 2003 walking the streets and riding the trains of New York seeing kids, adults wearing Mysterio shirts, Hardy Boyz merchandise and everything.

There is no difference now. WWE and WCW were both filled with kids and adults. I found WCW attracted more teens in the 90s but there is no question kids were heavily influenced and it did not effect the product.

Go back on youtube and watch The Rock promos and all sorts of matches from back then and see how many kids you will spot in the crowd.

It's even more repulsive that Vince and everyone up north acts like the Attitude Era and their Edgy Crash TV style **** never even existed. It's sad and pathetic.

I'm glad TNA is sticking with their general image knowing that more kids or attending and watching now. No need to tone it down because at the end of the day, kids don't draw ****.

Who buys the PPVs for a WWE fan that is like 7 years old? Mommy and Daddy. ADULTS. Who buys the t-shirts? ADULTS. Who buys the tickets for WWE shows? ADULTS.

WWE has problems but it has nothing to do with it being PG. I have yet to see one person make a convincing argument as to how WWE would be SO much better with the addition of profanity and sex jokes. If you honestly think those elements are what constitutes entertainment then you're just as childish as WWE's current target audience.

The real problems with WWE are the blandness of the product which has nothing to do with it being PG but rather that the shows are written by a bunch of Hollywood writers with no idea as to what makes pro-wrestling work, nor any interest in it. The writers have no respect for pro-wrestling, this is just a paycheck for them until someone buys one of their shitty screenplays and they get a "real" job in Hollywood.

The handling of blood also has nothing to do with the show being PG. Several states' athletic health commissions have been cracking down on WWE for years now. In some states it's actually illegal for wrestlers to blade now. Or even continue to perform while bleeding. The only reason indie feds including TNA (which is a glorified indie fed, they're just backed by money marks like Panda Energy.) because they're such small fries they get under the health commissions' radars.

The banning of impact moves on the head such as piledrivers and most versions of the DDT, was set in place well before WWE ever went PG. And this was done to help prevent the string of serious neck injuries that several performers most notably Stone Cold were suffering due to these types of moves. Also the banning of unprotected chairshots to the head was to prevent concussions and had nothing to do with the tv rating. The more dangerous high-flying moves were banned due to safety issues which was proven when they started making exceptions for the select few that proved that could hit those moves correctly and not endanger the receipient of move. Such as Evan Bourne & Justin Gabriel. None of this had anything to do with the PG rating.

Shitty Divas matches have nothing to do with the PG rating. It's because they hire women based on looks instead of talent. This is a result of most people's attitudes towards women's wrestling to begin with as the average male fan doesn't respect women as athletes anyway and just wants to look at some tits and ass.

I could go on all day. But the short version is this. WWE has a lot of problems and it's definitely okay to criticize the hell out of them for it. But for the love of God, point out what is actually wrong with product. Because it's only by figuring what the real problem is instead of just going for the easy scapegoat, can anyone even begin to figure out what the real solution will be. This is true for just about everything.
