Hey, I know there's been a bunch of announcements of way more currently marketable stuff, but does anybody know if Guyver-1 been given a release date yet? They've shown off the fully painted figure twice and I'm wondering what's the hold up.

Has anyone tried ordering from GSC's international shop? How's the overall experience compared to HLJ, Hobby Search, Ami Ami, etc...?

It's alright, though the only shipping method you can choose is EMS (though it could be different in other countries other than the US). And automatic payment occurs about 3 - 5 weeks ahead of the figure's release date, which can sometimes screw you a bit over if you don't have enough ready for it or have numerous Pre-Orders. Not sure on what happens if the figure gets delayed, since I've only ordered WonFes items off the GSC shop.

Does Aniplex's english site offer the Akuma Homura figma, or would I have to go through a middleman?

Ah, thanks for the heads up! I didn't realize they shipped overseas till recently, let alone sold Wonder Festival exclusives... Would have sprung for a couple of them if I knew I didn't need to use proxies.

Will get Guyver for sure. Part of my childhood. Wonder if they will do any other from the series. Guyver III is possible if this sells, but I sorta doubt it because Guyver is very niched.

I really want a Gigantic though.

I'm torn about Guyver. This is cheaper, but I don't think it's as good as MF's earlier releases. Also, the GSC exclusive diStage kind of ticks me off... I may be wrong, but it looks like just a cool looking piece of cardboard, couldn't they have included it every release?
