One throwaway line from Mio in the Gaim/ToQger crossover about V3 and now we finally have Kamen Rider Sango...it's probably completely unrelated, but you have to admit it's quite the coincidence .

His design is pretty awesome though, at least in that art so hopefully it translates to his actual suit as well :thumbs:.

Surprised he's using a car though, since being a Rider meant to evoke the Showa Era, you'd think he'd have a bike. Not to mention we already have Black in it as another Rider with a car to match Drive :eyebrow:.

And yeah, Shirakura being back is a cause for alarm, but maybe we can take solace in that the Taisen movies have at least...kinda been improving :sweat:?

At the very least, despite being a Taisen movie, the focus on Sango might mean more of a core focus in general and the possibility that Shinnosuke might stay within the central plot and not vanish for other characters to take the spotlight. Well, possibly :redface2:.

Sentai's probably going to feel pretty shoehorned into this. Considering this news, and Kamen Rider Wars, can't the Spring movies just be soley Rider at this point :shakefist?

I'm curious who they'll cast for Kamen Rider 3. Someone old to keep in line with the Showa Rider's appearance or someone young? I personally wish they cast Daisuke Ban, he was in the Kikaider movie after all.

If they go with someone older, it sets the idea that Rider 3 is the lost Showa Rider. To where no one knew that he even existed, until now. When I look at SHTGP, it reminds me of Marvel's Original Sin.

Well who knows maybe the even numbered Taisen will at least be more enjoyable then the odd numbered ones. Like the Star Trek movies.

^ I more or less like all of the first six Trek movies. What I've read of the SHT movies doesn't make me want to watch them. I will see how KR Taisen is though when I rewatch Gaim.

Hmm... on the one hand, I'm disappointed we're not getting a bike, let alone a new bike intentionally made to be reminiscent of the ones from the Showa era...but I do like how the Tricyclone at least goes for that retro feel .

I wonder if we might have a scene where the Double Riders and Sango do their poses together? Or maybe with V3?
