Bushido *is* an abstract moral point. It doesn't matter how we feel about it. Heck, there's an entire Trope dedicated to it. But Bushido is part of what makes the characters themselves. If you try to change that now, they would be acting contrary to the person they had been for the last 40+ episodes. They could do it, sure, but they'd have to pay for it. And there aren't really enough episodes left for them to deal with the aftermath at this point.
That's true. But then how would Genta killing Juzo break that moral code, when the alternative is putting the samurai lord and the rest of humanity in mortal danger?
