Places to visit in England?

I'm planning a little trip to England around February...
I never spent more then 4 days in an English speaking country... I'd like to change that!
Can anyone recommend me some places, monuments, foods, beverages,...?

When I went to England for the summer for my internship I stayed in Brighton. It has some great life in that city both during the day AND at night. PLUS it's by the sea and there's almost always something going on :3 It's worth a look! I really enjoyed it there.. plus it's only an hour away from London by train <3

Bradford, while you're there, you might want to check out the gothic wool exchange. :laugh:
Bradford also has lots of curry houses if you love curry.

While you're in Sheffield, you might wanna check out the Peace and Winter Gardens in the city centre.

You might also want to go to Cornwall and check out Land's End.

I'm a big Beatles fan, so I'd really love to visit Liverpool and Manchester... Plus I have relatives there, so free accommodations for me. :sweat:

this is the first time i have ever heard someone promote bradford ( where i live:buttrock as a destination for a trip to england :laugh: seriously though, bradford also has the national media museum if your interested in that sort of stuff, its also home to a victorian model village (if you like history) with its mill converted into a art gallery, restaurant and some outdoors shops.

Oxford is beautiful, also Bath (go to the spa!) If you're anywhere in the Kent area I suggest Dungeness, the coast is stunning and you can visit the old lighthouse :anime: There's a nuclear power station too

I recommend Madame Tussaud's wax museum (hope i spelled that right!) in London, The London Eye, Cadbury Chocolate Factory in Birmingham, Manchester Eye in Manchester (same as London Eye, but a bit smaller and diff view), and if you're a football/soccer fan, go see the stadiums. The Manchester United Tour was amazing.

If you're more into shopping, then Oxford Circus, Oxford Street, and Picadily Street is yours.
