If you're a superhero fan, you've got to hit up San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) at least once. It's the biggest pop culture convention in the world, and Marvel always brings their A-game with exclusive panels, sneak peeks, and sometimes surprise guests. The atmosphere is electric, and you'll find tons of merchandise from both established and indie vendors.
Another great option is New York Comic Con (NYCC). It has a vibrant superhero culture and hosts a lot of panels that focus on comics, movies, and TV shows, especially those related to Marvel. The community vibes are fantastic, and you can meet a lot of passionate fans, plus, NYC itself is an amazing bonus for after-hours exploration.
Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle is also excellent, especially for a more intimate setting. You’ll find great comic book artists and writers, and they often have panels focused on comic creation, which is perfect if you're into the behind-the-scenes aspect. Plus, the Seattle area has a lot of cool things to offer outside of the convention.
When attending any convention, keep an eye on the schedule for panels featuring Marvel creators, actors, and fandom discussions. Merchandise-wise, look for exclusive items that you won’t find anywhere else! And don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes; you'll be doing a lot of walking!
Lastly, chat with fellow fans and maybe join in on cosplay if you feel up for it! It’s a fantastic way to bond over shared interests. Enjoy your first convention experience!
