Its alright. For such a commercial success Den-o lacks in 'gimmick' if you don't consider the form change.

I mean I don't got trinkets to fiddle with to give myself new abilities (Cards, Memories or Medals), my forms are just different stat arrangement, I don't cool powers like Clock Up or Summoning powers and I'm not a living nuke like Kuuga

Kuuga was just awesome, but he didn't really have a gimmick unless you count having one of the highest stats for a Heisei rider with Ultimate Form (which almost no one really does in RPs anyway).

Den-O had its own gimmick, thought not in the sense of combat powers. Time-travel is not something that even Decade can do on a whim. As for Yuuki's power, I didn't watch the that movie too closely to know what happened.

Don't think of it like that. Look on the bright side: Den-O's system is without a doubt the most innovative form-change system in existence. the idea of a single set of armor with four configurations is brilliant. out of all the Den-O riders, Den-O himself is the only one with re-arranging armor. not only that, but the Full Charge aspect is pretty coolm since Den-O has shown to be able to create variations of his own attacks, a feat that is pretty rare among riders. the whole concept behind the Den-O system is essentially adaptation, making each form wholly unique and for those reasons, you should feel lucky to be Den-O. especially with how we're also establishing an Imagin adaptation system as well

The best way to limit DiEnd is to make his Summons no better than Mooks with big guns they hit hard but can't take a hit.
