Takaoka is freakin Badass. I can't wait til he becomes a ranger. We haven't had a ranger as cool as that since Abarekiller (er, Testu could have come close). But, I wouldn't be suprise if he was a Ranger that only comes when he is needed. So far, in the Movie Promos, he isn't there. But yeah, I know, the 6th Ranger dosen't really have the Major role as the others.

Ep 18 up on TVN! Really, really love this ep. They've got quite a lot of hinting about BoukenSilver in this ep. First they have Natsuki and Souta teasing Masumi leading to Masumi shoving back and the resulting push causes the plans for a new Boukensuit (obviouslly BoukenSilver's from the design) to fall to the ground. Next, Mr Voice asks Akashi about his decision regarding giving up the post of BoukenRed (probably to take on BoukenSilver). Of course, Sakura who is not in the loop immediately assumes it means to stop being a Boukenger... And we have Takaoka getting excited by the idea of doing something because he enjoys it, which reconciles him to the Boukenger mindset and sets him up for BoukenSilver.... The previews for 19 are cool. Takaoka pops up some scary looking fangs and according to the Toei website, it has to do with the destruction of his nifty staff which has some sort of suprressing ability. Still not used to the design for BoukenSilver, but looks like it will be a great introduction. Hope it doesn't take up too much time from my Red though... Can't wait for this sunday when I can watch Boukenger 19! Start up!

Task 18 was just amazing. I loved everything about it, especially the scenes involving Akashi & Takaoka. I seriously like Eiji alot, he is so much damn cooler than the previous 6th Rangers (minus Killer). What I like most is how they show his face during the fight scenes and you actually see him doing battle.
The guy knows how the handle that staff aswell. I wonder if he's got any Martial Arts history. Shougo would probally know the answer to this.
I couldn't help but get goosebumps and almost scream like a pre-teen school girl at a BSB concert when Akashi figured out what Takaoka was saying to him and starting walking towards the battle.
I'm so pumped for the next episode to see BoukenSilver debut but most importantly HIROSHI fucking WATARI. :buttrock:
