well... usually in an anime or video game crossover, they still use the same voice actors. (ex: Kingdom Hearts)

01 is the best, no doubt 'bout it
02 is good, but I dissapointed with Yamato/Matt married with Sora (I hope it's Taichi with Sora :disappoin)
still not watch all of Tamers, because I watched it when aired in my country but the schedule is the same with my time to church :sweat:
same with Frontiers, currently downloading it, love the design and it's a sentai look-alike :laugh:
Savers at beginning have too much filler for me, but I surprised that this series connected to that X-Evolution movie

Actually, wouldnt it be neat if they made a new one where everybody knew about the Digital World(Tamers excluded)? Kinda like the ones off of the games.

I don't think so. Kingdom Hearts, maybe because it also spawned a sequel. But stuff like, Tales of Symphonia (since it had a sequel), some things change because of the Union Strike or whatever it was...something about the Writer's Strike. So they probably wouldn't get same VA's unless Jeff Nimoy somehow performed some kind of miracle.

There's that, and the fact that it's been 8-10 years since they did the roles for some of them. Many of the voice actors may have moved on, or no longer voice act or even might not be able to pull off the same kind of voices, especially the younger ones of the cast.

I can see them pull off a few, especially the dedicated ones, some of the previous dubbed productions (such as the "new" released movies a while back, and Data Squad) are proof that it can happen. However, I think it will mostly depend on how many of them want to, or are able to, step up to the plate; many of them would be recasts or added new characters/actors entirely to support the diminished few, if that was indeed the direction they were going for.

Well, I was also referring to this scenario:
"Kamen Rider Decading" Digimon.

1 group of heroes travelling to many other Digimon worlds where the fans are to expect the return of some familiar faces for one of the members of the one of former worlds came to instruct the leader of that group. Result?

Recast the characters and changing names.
1st of them all was Kamen Rider Kuuga, from Yuusuke Godai with a very awesome character only to become Yuusuke Onodera with some of Godai's character missing.

See, I hope this will never come to pass or else, Digimon is distorted beyond repair. Because of KR DCD, I am a bit afraid of a wrongly done AU world story telling. This is what I wish to not see in Digimon.

Oh! Oh my, I forgot. Toei created not only Super Sentai, but also BOTH Kamen Rider and Digimon. :laugh:

Season 2 was quite a disappointment for me.

Digimon Adventure 01 and 02 are my favorite due to continuity.
And honestly, I want to rewatch them all over again...:buttrock:

I think it's just because Yamato saved Sora when a Digimon attacked his concert (and that's made Daisuke's sister jealous :laugh

I suspect it had to do with Yamato's seiyuu getting pushed a major heartthrob-type at the time 02 was being made. (He played almost the same characters in shoujo shows after Digimon Adventure ended.)

So since he was the main guy they were pushing in a romantic sense, they shoved him together with the main girl. For the dub it would make absolutely no sense, since it's not like Matt's VA was anybody special.
