Den-O: Why the criticism?

The suits and the gears made no sense. All the forms, belt buttons and weapons were pre-packaged long before Ryo even met Momo, much less the other three Taros. To see Axe Form's front on Sword Form's back long before Kintaros even shows up, for instance, is just very jarring to the logic.

I know what you mean, this is when I started thinking of the time traveling thing, maybe the belt was created by the Momotachi in the future, also the armor was created by them in the future knowing that Ryotaro was going to be the wearer of the belt. then they gave the belt to the Owner, the belt went back in time to when everything started, this is how the belt had the 4 buttons and the armor was made like that. of course that's my theory, and it has never been explained before. so I will stick to it till they explain it.

But when Momotaros and the other Imagins would have made the Gear in the future how could they exist in the future when they got they bodies in the present?

And they had to be created in the present and have the adventure with Ryoutaro and use the rider gear before they could even creat it.

But its time travel so...I guess it doesnt have to make sense:laugh:

I don't buy the "came from the future" origin anymore, because there actually isn't really anything that implies that the Denliner crew are from a future. The dimension the trains and Kingliner roll around in is similar to the Persistence of Memory painting. The Stationmaster and the Owner are dopplegangers, and that was explained by Owner saying they only looked alike because that was how everyone saw it as.

I think it's more likely that all the stuff related to Den-O, Zeronos, Gaoh, Yuuki, etc. are manifestations of this "outside time" dimension. The Denliner crew (sans Hana, who was picked up from a timeline that was erased like lots of others whom we see in Kingliner) isn't from the future, they exist outside of time and safeguard its natural progress. They're physical manifestations of something more abstract.

And yet we're talking about a series that runs ENTIRELY on time, so I have no problem seeing it as explainable.

I thoroughly enjoyed Den-O. I thought it had just the right amount of sillyness to drama that made it awesome.

It definitely has its flaws, but its not a bad season.

The only explanation is that it all came from the future. And there is too much proof to the contrary for that to be true.

I kinda knew someone would ask that, the wheel...for the Liner form, its because in the future was deleted by the imagin, so when they created the belt. they only did it to a point in time, this is where the present Momotachi created the wheel to make Den-O stronger. and the wheel was created because they could not posses Ryotaro in the past.

and I see it like this, past erased and present erased. only the present stands...before the future was erase there was a Den-O. they send the belt back on time to find the singularity point who can wear it (Ryotaro) and they created a different time where Hana became every Japanese Businessman's dream.

I agree on this one, as much as I can see that Den-O pretty much took advantaged of being entitled "Kamen Rider", let's not forget the fact that the industry it stands on just needs to make money in order to survive a few more years to give us more Kamen Rider action... Too bad it had to be on the image of the Kamen Riders' expense. :disappoin

That is what Toei's motive should be. I remember quite back then, I don't think several Imagins called Ryoutarou and Taros didn't say Kamen Rider but, unless they only call Den-O instead. STILL.

I'm sorry, like I said before, this is my way of explaining it. there is no proof, you can take the explanation or always have that plothole bothering you. as for me, I will keep this until I'm told otherwise
