Den-O: Why the criticism?

No one here is saying that the early Heisei Riders were perfect but in comparison to the latter half they were superior shows on all categories.

In design, in themes, in plot and conceptualized ideas and even (dare I say it) execution (relative to the latter half).

W does not count because it's still too early too judge (but so far so good).

So far I'm able to keep an open-mind to anything from the KR franchise. While some of us feel that KR is suppose to be an absolute way. That's not how Toei thinks. They want to keep the franchise fresh, even if it means going outside the box. It's because they have to change with the times as well as sell stuff.

^ Hahaha yeah. I just look at it this way...

a. Those who think Den-O is better than Kuuga and Agito = Retarded.

b. Those who think Den-O was fun and a breath of fresh air = Open-minded.

c. Those who think Den-O was stupid = Reasonable people.

d. None of the above = Lucky bastards.

As the old saying goes; "You can't please everyone..." Good thing Toei pleased the young audiences which was their real intended market, but makes fans like us realize that Toei is another company who just wants to make money, and what better way than to lure children to a show that doesn't require too much brain activity. Yeah Den-O had great concepts (Time-travel, Japanese mytologies, etc.), but the plot wasn't executed properly IMHO.

I definitely disagree there. it's perfectly okay to think of Den-O as better than Kuuga and/or Agito

wait...Double is funny? so all that weird moments are meant to be funny, I rather have idiot comedy then, cause I see W as a detective story that it should have almost no comedy. now if the comedy is when shotaro makes his funny face...then yes....but when that annoying piece of **** that they have for boss...yes that little 10 year old bitch...hits him with a green sandal...no its not funny...its annoying, I would quit and work alone...cause I would end up killing that bitch.

still...besides all that, W is awesome....he puts the W in aWesome

I said comedy... I never classified that moron Akiko with her slipper as comedy relief.

Yes, of course TOEI is revitalizing the KR franchise and making a good fresh start for the next decade.

It's called KAMEN RIDER W not Den-Oranger.
