naw i'm not doing it wrong. maybe you are. all i'm saying is, without synchros, the game wasn't as fast. with synchros, it got faster. besides synchros got better effects than monsters that needed tributes

i saw synchros as just fusions without the need for poly lol.the only difference between that was synchros you need to have a tuner instead of the proper monsters needed to fuse.it did make the tcg more interesting instead of relying on monsters magic and trap cards.even though i quit playing the game i still have friends who play it and of course i keep update with the cards and such.zexal will be a new trend in the game soon.

Well I just sat through the first episode of Zexal.

I honestly don't know how I feel about this series, the start wasn't that bad I didn't think I don't hate it exactly. It kinda feels like their going back to the basics with Zexal. Also, I REALLY hate Yuma's catch phrase...Pop Flying...it just sounds SO stupid!

I'll stick with it at least for the first few episodes just to see where this goes.

First episode was just okay, IMO. Yuma wasn't as bad as I thought he would be, although I hope he doesn't end up as just another Judai. The whole black hole thing with Exceed Summoning Revise Dragon was cool, but what I'm liking most is the whole backstory of the lost memories thing going on with Astral and all the throwbacks to not-so famous mythologies. (Wiki Gaga and Baba and you'll see what I mean.) The whole set up gives off the same vibe as the original series, which is awesome.

Gameplay-wise, Exceed is awesome since it gives decks that previously didn't have the speed or power to par up with synchros just that. Exceed is definitely going to become the new Synchro.

Also, augmented reality Scouters and iPads that can turn into Duel Disks. Sweeeeeeeet.
