It's kinda hard to go from 5D's to this--in every way, it feels like such a downgrade. From the characters to the strategy of the duels to the cards being used.

It's also disappointing that they couldn't finish the first duel inside episode 1. Even GX managed that. Hopefully they can keep their duels compressed going forward, because I don't want to have to deal with multiple 4-5 episode duels by episode 25 (like Battle City). Oh well. Despite my admittedly negative opinion of the show thus far, I'll be watching the next episode as well. I have no desire to just hate the show, so I'm being hopeful that it will improve as time goes on.

Something about this show's styling really reminds me of Bakugan...I'm not sure quite why.

Yugioh is a great show in its own way but whats the point of making up new monster cards like how 5d's they had synchrono monsters, same thing with zexal why make new types of monsters it just dosen't feel right.

i not a hater of yugioh or anything i just don't like the new ideas that they've coe up with ever since 5d's

it's so they can make the game fresh and new. if they didn't introduce us to tuners and synchros, the game would be all slow and boring. i just wonder, once zexal is over, will there be a 5th yugioh series and if so, what new form of gameplay will they include? hmmm

naw i'm not doing it wrong. maybe you are. all i'm saying is, without synchros, the game wasn't as fast. with synchros, it got faster. besides synchros got better effects than monsters that needed tributes
