your feelings on Kamen Rider Blade

My after thoughts on Blade (I finished watching it when TV-Nihon finished subbing it):

-I still like Round Zero ~Blade Brave~ better than Elements, but I heard the second song is more popular. Why? I never understood that...
-I still don't like Amane. That mother needs to have some back bone and spank that girl. I know I could never get away with acting like that in MY family. No sir. Why is that she only becomes a better person by the END of the movie? What's worse about this is, the movie isn't even cannon! It's just an alternate ending to the series!
-I still think Jack Form is better than King Form. Something about going from being able to fly to not being able to fly just seems like a down-grade to me.

i generally agree lol! but i like Elements better for reasons even I don't understand myself. I guess it's probably due to it being in the second half and coz I really liked the second half... I hate Amane. She's so mean and... yeah. I shall not continue. I didn't really like the movie. I like the Jack form coz he can fly XD was kinda disappointed when King form lost that ability, but I liked the king form's giant sword that Kenzaki couldn't lift XD that, and the fact that he's the only one with a king form.

i really really like chalice from blade coz he's so... sad. He's a really sad character, i think. And the last episode of blade was the only other ending to make me cry other than the second last ep of W. (ok so it was 6 years ago... but i still feel that heartache when i watch the scene again...)

I liked Blade. It had a cool card system and an interesting concept with the Undead and the Joker. All of it leading up to the ending. Indeed, Blade is a bit slow at the start. It's one of those shows where you pretty much need to see the whole thing in order to truly appreciate it. I think my only major complaints would be how both Garren and Mutsuki tended to switch sides several times, and how Chalice tended to be a bit too stoic at times. Other than that, it was still a very good simple series with a good plot. Though due to having less innovation, I rank it slightly below the other Heisei riders (with the exception of Decade). I definitely recommend this season to all.

To me, I thought Blade was one of the best dramatic incarnation of the Heisei Era. I gotta give the writers a lot of props for actually trying.

Perfect backgrounds, great job on bringing out Hajime/Chalice's breakthrough, and awesome work with the cast.

Blade is one of my absolutely favorite Riders and Stories ever in Kamen Rider.

Kenzaki KNOWS what it means to be a Kamen Rider and doesn't need any kind of Gimmick to show it. He's doing it for the people. Not himself. Im glad the Original Came back on the final episodes of Decade. That made me so happy. Kenzaki is quite possibly my favorite MAIN rider of the Heisei era.

Blade is one of my favourite SERIES of all time. Ive watched it coutless times and enjoyed it every time. For me this series has the best concept for the riders out of all the heisei shows.

Although Kenzaki is one awesome main character, my favourite one would have to be Hajime. I absolutely love his story and the weird look and acting of that guy really makes you believe he's not human.

It seemed like a nice culmination of the past five seasons worked into one. I felt it was a nice finale to an otherwise steller five-year run before Toei and Bandai forgot what to do. I think of it as the Stronger of the Heisei saga, since the two seasons after were either lackluster or trying to figure out it's place.

I've always loved it even though it's not a series I would have repeated viewings of.

Anyone find the henshin sequence for all of the Blade Riders to be a little underwhelming?

Hm, gotta say it wasn't anything special. But it was always fun to see Kenzaki use the gimmick to bounce the monsters away or defend himself.

as for my views on Blade? It stands just right beneath Kuuga, Agito and W for me. Having a bit of a mixed feeling about Ryuki so he's not there. The 4 Riders didn't overshadow each other, although I felt Leangle's mindcontrol evil arc was dragged out a little too long. I like the designs of the Riders and the ending absolutely won me over.

I always enjoyed Blade, since Kenzaki defined the word "hero". Especially when he sacrificed his humanity for Hajime's sake. While some viewed it as stupid. It was worth it, since Hajime grown beyond the Joker.

As for Missing Ace, the one thing I couldn't stand was Larc & Lance, especially when it came to the disrespect towards both Kenzaki & Mutsuki, just because they're the old guys. Which is why I saw their counterparts in Decade as an improvement. Glaive however was still the same evil jerk in both versions.
