We Miss Double (W) Thread

That sounds like like what Tiger said. He will kill what he loves and you will bash Double to miss it. :redface2: That still doesn't make it on topic.

Truthfully, it was just an extremely minor gripe that I just mentioned because of another post. It never detracted from my viewing experience from the show. It was just funny how much that set you off like you couldn't accept people not thinking Double is perfect. There are actually a lot of people who hated it.

The sidekick officer's nickname is Makky/Makki and he is the only character from W I hate. I don't think anyone could like that character.

Ok guys cool it off and take the arguments somewhere else like the Double Talk Up Thread. It's a "We Miss Double Thread" and all I asked was people sharing what they thought WAS GREAT about the series, not start an argument about what they disliked.

You guys should really try to learn to not go off topic as much as you all do.

(And as for "they shouldn't have been there otherwise," you cannot have a detective show that doesn't acknowledge the police in some form. The police exist to make the private detective look good, whether through corruption, incompetence, or personal reverence. This is an ironclad law of detective media.)

True; it's a good thing Shotaro's more of a hard-boiled detective wannabe than an insufferable Holmes type; otherwise he'd be disparaging the police force's lack of talent.

Also, unlike Kuuga (which is more like a police procedural J-drama with toku elements) or Agito (which is more dramatic, less police-y but with still more police than the average toku), Double doesn't use the relationship of the detective with the official force as a central point; rather, it's more of a family tragedy and the heroes who do not wish their city to cry.

After being introduce into the Kamen Rider Series few years back with Faiz, I've come to find myself deeply into the Kamen Rider Double (W) series and often going back to the first episode. Not saying the others were/are good either, but Double (W) has to be number one of my favorites.

When I thought Philip was gone for good spent most of the night crying saying "No. This cannot be how it ends. It cannot" and then became overcome with joy when Philip was given a new life thanks to his family. Yeah, they were bad, but merely lost their way and now taking care of the Earth as the chosen ones. EPIC WIN.

Why not do what Shinkenger is doing and do a spin off. I mean the ending did leave us with a good possiblity of them continuing to be the wind that protects Futo. Man, I love that ending.

Kamen Rider Double (W) you've won my heart.
