But it's weird that we all ready have an official announcement about the 6th ranger. The show hasn't even premiered yet! I guess they are going to follow a similar story structure like Kyoryuger, but that doesn't mean it'll work. Though I guess it doesn't mean it'll fail, either...
Anyone else think this is getting a little excessive? Even I use to think having 10 rangers is a bit much for any Super Sentai series, and didn't Kyoryuger technically have 11 rangers? How many will this show have?

Well it does seem to be the trend now. Get the 6th+ Rangers out quickly. Heck Go-Busters brought Beet and Stag out in ep 14-15. Kyouryuger brought Cyan in what... ep 6? And Gold in ep 11?

Eh, I don't see why that's a bad thing. I mean, we know it's coming, might as well get it done with quickly, like a bandaid. Although, I wouldn't count Ramirez as a proper 6th really as he didn't stay with the main team and fight on a regular basis.

It's becoming complacent, that's the problem. Yes we know there is one or more coming out eventually, but there is no real build up. No surprise. They are just standardized now... well more or less have been for a long while now... but still. Would it kill them to hold off to ep 18 or 20 to intro him? You got aux mecha to shill out first. :shakefist
Still, Ramirez still counts since they brought him out so early. Sure not as an official Sixth Ranger that helps the team all the time, but like classic 6th's he helps out once in a while. Still... he counts.

I think he is gonna appear in episode 10 just because he got announced so early.
am i the only one annoyed by those early announcements? we dont even know the core members yet and it makes people look forward to the sixth too soon.

They've been announcing Sixth Rangers around this time ever since Shinkenger, I think? Either just before the show or soon after it starts, it comes out in the 2nd quarter toy catalogues. The reason Utchy was introduced so early was because there were four more auxiliaries coming along, so unless ToQ has a bunch of them, the Sixth will probably make his debut at the usual time of ep15-16
