It's that time again! We've got five choices this month for people to vote on!
What is Tokusatsu of the Month?
TotM is a fun way of getting people into the lesser known/discussed tokusatsu shows out there. Every month members vote for one show out of the candidates they want to see as the winner. The show will then become the TotM for the next month and have a discussion thread created and pinned for the entirety of that month for people to discuss as they do with current shows.
So here are the candidates! As always, the poll is open for one week.
Kyojuu Tokuso Juspion
While reading the Galaxy Bible, Ejin learns of a shocking prophecy: When the dark god Satan Goss awakens, the universe will be ravaged by the giant monsters filled with rage. When Satan Goss appears, Juspion sets off under orders from his mentor Ejin to stop him and combat the corrupted Megabeasts with the giant warrior robot Daileon and his friends.
Condorman
As Condorman, Hitoshi Sato would fight evil monsters who disguised themselves as humans and were out to pollute planet earth’s water and air supply, among other things. Condorman was able to see through the monster’s human disguises with his “Condor Eye” and he used many special powers such as “Condor Thunder” and “Condor Hurricane” to stop them. Besides all the various monsters, Condorman also had to deal with their numerous henchmen who all looked like Nazis wearing Lucha Libre masks.
Tokkei Winspector
The series follows the adventures and missions of a special “Rescue Police” team known as Special Police Winspector, as they stop crimes and respond to dangerous events where regular police force is not sufficient. The team is made up of one human (a hero clad in armor) and two robotic assistants.
Tomica Hero Rescue Force
The second generation Rescue Force is a special Super Disaster Response Team part of the United Fire Defense Agency, otherwise known as the UFDA, which is part of the Earth Federation. Based on the real life Hyper Rescue group, Rescue Force is deployed when a series of super disasters created by the Neo Terra group begin to take place and no other group is able to stand up to this threat. Hikaru Todoroki, a recent addition to the group, is trying to earn the respect of the others while saving lives and proving he's worthy of being on the team.
Ultraman Dyna
It has been ten years since Daigo and Ultraman Tiga parted way, humanity has moved on to the stars. Known as the age of the Neo Frontier, humans are now terraforming Mars as they search for a new planet to live on. GUTS has become SUPER-GUTS, but their mission of defending people against monster attacks remains the same. Shin Asuka, resident newbie and cut up, is drawn into the battle against the monsters when his friends are attacked and he is saved by an entity of pure light. The two form a bond and Ultraman Dyna is born.
