At that time, Smackdown didn't have a women's title. Which is why they made the Diva's title. Right now they want to unify the titles, which is a good idea. Since having too many belt isn't good. It makes the title picture look like a joke. However I think that they should keep the IC & US belts seperate.

And now I dunno if this is a good idea or not, but WWE plans to unify all the titles.
If the European and Hardcore Titles don't come back, they are really screwing things up, as their roster is very big.

Those 2 titles are GREAT for pushing people. If the European title was still around, that's the one the Miz would be holding right now, and Bryan Danielson would be gunning for it as well.
And well, if you don't want to use the Hardcore title, just bring back the effin Cruiserweight championship. The one thing I don't like about that title though, is that they just give it to guys like Evan Bourne so they can have big guys in the world title division without smarks complaining.

The Hardcore title was entertaining, dammit.

What the hell was I watching? This RAW was nothing but promos & more promos. There was hardly any decent in-ring action. I came to see some wrestling, fools! *goes into indy wrestling mode*

The WWE needs to unify the rosters back together in general, and go back to the old way they did things and have the entire roster on BOTH SHOWS. The only reason they split the rosters between RAW and Smackdown was because of the acquisition of the WCW and ECW wrestlers in the first place, but a majority of those guys they acquired all either went the indy route or are in TNA.

I'm fine if they unify the titles back together, but I hope their next step is to reunify the WWE roster. Since TNA is starting to take some established WWE, WCW, and ECW talent onto their roster anyway, the WWE roster seems to be back to the reasonable enough size for it to be reunified in order for the entire roster of talent to appear on BOTH SHOWS.

I mean, they've been doing a lot of "interbrand" storylines in the past couple of years despite having two separate rosters. It's eventually gonna have to come back to putting the WWE roster back together as one united unit, it's not like they have issues of an overcrowding roster since they're cutting away some of their established talent left & right to make way for the young breed.

Although, I do agree with what Wing Saber said about keeping the Intercontinental Title and US Title separate. Despite having the same meaning, those two titles seem to be unique by their reputations anyway dating back to the old WWF and WCW. ****, we don't even have the Euro Title anymore since it was unified with the Intercontinental Title........so we might as well keep the US Title around as the substitute for the Euro Title, despite not being "Euro."

I was jokingly saying with a friend that all of the NXT season 2 wrestlers would go crazy and be Nexus 2.

I WAS JUST JOKING! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

And Season 3 is going to be AWFUL.
The Bellas as pros, with a ring announcer as their wrestler. AJ Lee the QUEEN of FCW being paired up with Primo.
Only good things about that season are Goldust and AJ Lee.
At least I have one hour relieved off my week.

WTF IS GOING ON HERE WITH NEXUS 2?

At least I know this is to give Kaval a good push.

He's over with the smarks, now he has to be over with the marks, and this will do it.

Something a bit more complicated albeit similar happened to Bryan.
It's very smart, and shows they care for those guys.

The Genesis Doing what NexTendon't.

I'm really glad there's an all women wrestling show starting next week. I know a few of the ones chosen by reputation, so it could be a good way to build back up the division.

Wow. I can't believe my eyes. The really REALLY had to end NXT with a Nexus 2? Come on now. This goes to show this company knows nothing about future stars.

Not to mention almost every wrestler has the same finisher. Lucky Cannon really had to use a finisher similar to Wade Barret? Come on.

And the Season 3..with Divas? are you kidding me?

What division? A division nobody gives a rats ass about. They hire models and call them wrestlers after 2 months of training. I do not want to see that, and I know for a fact many others will feel the same.

That is a bad idea in general, because the main event scene is going to be nothing but Cena, Orton, Undertaker, Triple H, with guys like Big Show, Rey, Edge, Kane and Jericho(if he's still with the company after Fozzy's European tour) thrown in every so often. Plus whichever money in the bank winner they decide to throw a bone too. Not to mention most of the television time is going to be eaten up by them. It was that way before the brand split, I watched it as it happened.

Since that brand split a lot of guys had a chance to shine that they didn't before. Do you really think guys like Edge, Eddie Guererro, Rey would have gotten as big as they did if the brands were united. No most of the television time would have been dominated by the big names. Newer guys like CM Punk, Miz, Alberto Del Rios, Swagger, and MVP outside of some promos would get a minimum of television time to connect with the crowd, and probably be beaten down by some some main event heel to be prove a point to to the guy he's feuding with.

If they want to unify the women's and tag tiles fine, there not much on either show to warrant 2 different sets of titles. But right the two separate brands are giving guys a chance to shine they wouldn't have before. And the WWE realize that's the best way to make sure they got the main eventers ready to step up, and a crowd ready to believe that can step up.

Exactly. And they are trying to heavily push Miz, Wade Barret and Sheamus. How on earth will all of these guys get quality time in title matches and in general feuds?

It's a stupid idea. Not everything needs to be unified. The Tag Titles are enough...They don't even have proper tag teams either.

Holy crap did we just agree on something?

I all for the women's titles being unified. Just like the tag division, the Divas division on both shows are too shallow. Unifying them in theory gives them more options and it's not like the Diva's title has any credibility anyway.

That said the rest of the titles should remain separate. A full brand merger would be terrible. If you think think guys like Punk, Christian and Morrison get lost in mid-card limbo now. It would only get worse with Cena, Orton and the rest of same old, same old being on both shows every week.

Kaval was the man to win season 2. As a whole the season 2 rookies aren't even the same calibre as the season 1 guys. Kaval was lightyears ahead of everyone else as a worker and once he dropped that vanilla, babyface act he was trying out at the beginning of the season, he showed just how strong he was on the mic as well.

Alex Riley was the only other credible winner. McGillicutty thus far is just so-so and has none of the charisma his dad did. The five that were already eliminated all had weaknesses that couldn't be overlooked.

I actually liked that the season 2 rookies went berserk and ganged up on Kaval. Especially if they become another Nexus, this will give WWE a good storyline reason to cancel NXT on the grounds that the show just creates upstart monsters. Though probably it would be best to just have these guys join the Nexus instead of forming a faction of their own.

I can see them showing up on Raw next week and asking to join. Wade Barrett considers it but makes them audition. If they win their matches, they're in. If they lose, they're out and get beatdown. Afterall, they just trimmed the fat, no point in just re-building their ranks with more losers. This way they can have the worthwhile talent like McGillicutty, Harris, Riley and maybe a couple of the others. But keep out the ones that outright suck like O'Neil.

I actually had a feeling season 3 was going to be all Divas actually. The third season is only going to be five weeks long. NXT is already cancelled and going to be replaced with Smackdown once that show moves to SyFy. Thus neither WWE nor SyFy are going to give a **** about NXT's ratings for the next month. It's a month of throwaway programming, why not just go for the total trainwreck?

A.J. Lee is actually pretty good. Naomi Night isn't without promise, though I suspect she'll have a hard time getting over. The others I'm not that familiar with but Aloisa is sure to get the most attention.

Funny thing. When Vickie Guerrero of all people, revealed herself to be a pro and she then went on and on about how big and powerful her rookie was. I was thinking they were going for another established veteran being paired up with the least credible pro angle ala Danielson/Miz and Kaval/Lay-Cool. I started thinking "Oh ****! Did they just sign Amazing Kong?!" But then showed Aloisa and I felt a strange mixture of relief and disappointment.
