Kaval definatley belongs on SD.

Who cares. If Low-Ki/Kaval goes back to the indies, his wrestling style won't get watered down & will get more awesome matches from him. So It doesn't bother me if he wins or not. Plus, Riley is not that bad.

Riley definatley has character. Like I said I see him winning it.

You know what else is funny? For a moment I thought they were actually punishing him for making a TNA reference, as that was unexpected from Josh.

"Total Non-Stop Action" is pretty much a reference.

How is it dumb? Main Event Mafia was full of former Campions looking for Respect.

Fortune is a group of young guys with potential getting put over into stars.

Which is different to Nexus considering only 2 guys out of that group will be relevant in the WWE after Nexus is over. The rest will probably be jobbers and get released.

The only problem with that analogy is you can argue a lot of the guys in Fortune were already over, before the group started up.

AJ Styles, been with the company since day one, and has held every title, NWA and TNA wise, that he can possible hold.

Beer Money, One of the top tag team in the company having major feuds with the MCMG and Team 3D

Kazarian, one of the top stars in the X-Division.

Matt Morgan, came in hot and had a major feud with Kurt Angle that elevated him.

The only possible reason why they're not seen as stars no is either A, bad booking on TNAs part. Or B, Bischoff's inane belief only "Established" stars, aka Hogan, Sting Nash, RVD etc, etc, are the only one who makes money.

On a sadedr note for longtime wrestling fans, General Skandar Akbar of WCCW fame has passed away http://www.pwinsider.com/article/50158/skandar-akbar-passes-away.html?p=1

Yeah but nobody really knows them. That's the difference, they still have no presence. AJ has as much presence as Rey Mysterio and not a Randy Orton.

Beer Money has officially made it as the best tag team in wrestling. Last year they were not there fully. Matt Morgan has been inconsistent. He looks like he found a serious heel gimmick that will take him places. It's all about direction and most of these guys still did not have it last year and in Fortune it's starting to appear.

SmackDown was good tonight:

Alberto Del Rio is fucking epic, he's like a mexican JBL. He's a total star. I want him to be pushed and not McIntyre.

Kane delivered another great promo.

Kofi/Ziggler was pretty good as well.

Someone needs to tell Vince that the LayCool promos are HORRIBLE. How the **** do you allow that crap on TV?

And that is bad booking on TNA part, especially in AJ's case. The man was the face of the company for years. He was voted Mr. TNA by the fan 3 three years in a row. Hell, the PPV main event before they went national on Spike TV was an X-Division title defense featuring AJ, Joe and Daniels, a clear message to show why TNA was going to be different than WWE. Now Daniels has left, I got no idea what's going on with Joe and for some reason nobody in TNA believes AJ can get over with a crowd unless he's Mini-Flair.

And how they're establishing Fourtune too. Since joining Karzarian lost fast to Rob Terry, Beer Money lost the MCMG, and tonight AJ lost to Tommy Dreamer, a man who made his career losing and putting other people over. And they apparently can't beat anybody up as a group unless the light go out first.

As somebody who watched the Monday Night Wars as they happened, TNA is making the same mistakes WCW did near the end. They're putting all their eggs with the established star and and whatever short term fix they can get a hold of and not thinking long term.

I gotta agree with Sci on this one. I was watching the Monday Night Wars back in the day too, and this is ODDLY familiar.

I agree that AJ is the face of TNA, but these days he's taking a backseat. Which shows that TNA would rather focus on Hogan, Flair, Sting, EV 2.0, etc. than their own talent. And to have Fortune acting like Nexus, where they suppose to more like the Horsemen. Basically shows that TNA can't come up with original ideas of their own.
