There are two thing from this day I still don't understand: One is why do we have a prayer before and after the oath?( not that prayer is bad but I thought that its suppose to be a separation of church and state), and Two is why are there ten Inaugural balls? Isn't it a bit much?

Clinton had 14 inaugural balls. That's the most a president has had. Guess they liked to party. lol.
