Super Robot Recommendations?

Don't make me laugh! That's a psychological deconstruction, not a Super Robot anime! Not even close! Its even drearier than most Real Robot show ><

The Super Robot Taisen games consider Evangelion a Super. Take that as you will.

Personally, these days when I watch Evangelion, I always end up thinking about Ultraman and tokusatsu moreso than mecha shows.

Not Super Robot. Geass is hardly robot at all!

Except for... what, how half or more of most episodes prominently feature scenes of robots fighting each other?

Are you going to say Dunbine isn't a robot show, too?

No one watches Geass for the robots >.> looking at all the promotion, article and fan stuff you would be lucky to even know there are robots in it.

Oh yeah Shinji and gang got in allright, but only after a Personality Transplant. Evas aren't even robots!

As far as I'm concerned, The Gundam Saga, the Grendizer Movies, The Romance Robot Trilogy and also Shin Seki Evangelion and it's Gainax allies are what I can recommend.
By the way, the SRW Games are of which we can watch,

But I have one question, WHY IS TEKNOMAN BLADE THERE?
I mean, he is just like any of the Tokusatsu heroes around, HENSHINS using a device or crystal and is just an armor, not as a Robot.

Why is he there? the makers of SRW consider his armor (and as well as the others), esp. from TKB 2, and Detonator Orgun, Robotic-like in appearance. unlike the first Tekkaman, though.

Note that if you must watch Gravion, get the DVDs. Certain other versions floating around the 'net used the broadcast versions of the episodes, where the animation wasn't complete and a lot of the action and other scenes are just kind of sad-looking.

Not to mention that KASS's fan subs are just HORRID

Seriously, I can't stand the kareoke text on the bottom of the screen WITH the charecter's dialogue

Hey all. Just got back from unwrapping my Christmas gifts, one of which is the second volume of Gaogaigar, which has episodes 26-49. In separate DVD's, of course.

And I have a Gaogaigar question. What episode does the character Renais officially make her debut, or does she appear in the later variations of Gaogaigar?
