I actually checked out the other songs by this Ark Music Factory, and none of them are this bad. Some are pretty lame, yes, but nothing to bat an eyelash at. A couple of them were actually pretty decent. I think they were just trying to get rid of that song, and this poor girl was naive enough to actually pick it.

Also, I'm mad the creepy black rapper dude hasn't been the subject of more derision. He actually made a "rap remix" to the song, which, while it gets points for actually being a parody, is still terrible.

I would really hate to be Rebecca Black. With this shitty song she has really ruined her life now, and now she serves as an internet punching bag for people who are pissed off. Pissed off about anything.

Ark Music Factory didn't pen the song, Black did. They're just an audio/video production company that collaborates with customers to create content of their own. That's why the quality of their work is so inconsistent; the kids featured in the videos are encouraged to come up with their own musical material. It's very possible, then, that Rebecca Black really is just the worst songwriter in the history of discordance.
