To answer your original question, FK, the video is legitimately serious (although very hard to take seriously), which is exactly why it's hilarious. I've actually had this fucking song stuck in my head all day from bagging on it continuously with my fraaaaaaaans this week (fun fun fun!), so I guess in the end Rebecca Black wins after all.
