So Why Does Joe Odagiri Hate Kamen Rider?

but I just can't envision the idea of a male model photobook/shoot.

You can't be serious.

What's there to comprehend? Women like dudes. The same way some attractive actresses do modeling, attractive actors will do the same.

I'm seriously not even sure of what you're really trying to say, because at the moment it's too ridiculous to be what you really mean.

I lol'ed. This somehow feels like something he as Date would do for goofs.

On topic, I get his motivations, but it's still a downer anyways. As a kid watching Kuuga, I really looked up to Godai, and the character really inspired me. For the actor to not take pride in something that's inspired people is a bummer.

What do you think I mean? All I'm is when I see a video such as what was posted I'm thinking, to put it bluntly, "He's acting like a girl". It just looks silly. Again, maybe it's because I'm male and my mind doesn't work in a way a female viewer might.

Hiroaki's photo on the other hand looks like something from a clothes catalog.

Straight men like to look at nude flesh. So do straight women. And so do gay men, bisexuals, and others. That's why actors do idol stuff. It's that simple.

Actually, I think the main actors from OOO besides Watanabe have all done a few.

Actually Shu did do one a few months ago! I suppose it just kind of got overshadowed by how fabulous Ryon's was.

... but going back on topic AGAIN ( seriously, why do threads like this always end up talking about porn? ) I pretty much second Seigi on this, because ... well hypothetically, if a little kid watched Kuuga and got really excited and inspired to be like Godai, and he bumped into Odagiri by chance and tried to tell him that, I imagine he'd be pretty bummed by seeing the man as he really is and not as the character he felt so motivated by. It reminds me of that episode of Hey Arnold where Eugene met the actor who played his idol and discovered he was a bitchass diva behind the scenes, so he felt betrayed and rebelled :P

okay that was a little rambly but you see what I mean, right? I'm not saying you have to live up to everyone's hopes, but it does kind of make things a little uneasy to watch in hindsight I guess.
