Power Rangers RPM

Also, there have been some posts on Rangerboard about the behind-the-scenes stuff that REALLY make me apprehensive about the show.

Supposedly, the REAL reason Eddie was fired because he couldn't stay within the budget or keep to the production schedule. It makes sense since 1) we're getting the season later than usual, and 2) look at the production values on the promo!

Also, supposedly the NEW new EP was a scab writer on Jungle Fury, and the cast didn't like any of the new scripts.

So, if any of this is true, I'm gonna be really cautious. Hopefully, it's still good, though, if for no other reason than just so the idiots who keep spouting, "Adness needs to buy PR," can finally shut the **** up.

Yes thank you. Its so annoying when people say that. Why would Adness be interested in buying PR n e ways? And why would Disney even sell it.

Adness does not have enough money. I wouldn't be surprised if they are not doing very well economically these days

Ok I know I've said many times that the entire Disney PR era is pretty much crap and that Dino Thunder is the only one that comes close to being decent.

However, after seeing the RPM trailer, I think this show will kill every single PR season Disney ever made in the past. I can't believe it took SIX FUCKING YEARS to turn things around, but who knows? Maybe this could be the only kickass Disney PR season ever made and then go back to being **** again, especially since I heard the man behind the storyline was fired during production of the series.

I don't think it will be as good as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight or Saban's PR seasons, but it seems to come pretty damn close to being as good (according to the trailer). Still, it seems the competing American Toku gave Disney a wake up call. Maybe it really was lack of serious and legitimate competition that was holding Disney back from making quality PR shows.

With Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, Kamen Rider Decade, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, and Power Rangers RPM, I think we should declare 2009 as The Year of Tokusatsu. Hell, this could be the first step in making Tokusatsu mainstream worldwide, including the U.S.

All we need is an epic Ultraman series and an epic Godzilla movie. ^_^

Hmmm... I think I might give RPM a chance. Maybe it will better than its Sentai counterpart Go-onger, but who knows.

And I should agree that year 2009 is THE YEAR OF TOKUSATSU. Really.:buttrock:

Dont forget tomica hero rescue fire.

I'll put it on my list.

And I should agree about what Allie said. Maybe Disney will pull its first EPIC PR series EVER. If they'll gonna be turn to **** next year, I dunno; Adness will do better w/ their KR adaptation. If Disney will keep the hype, just like RPM, then AWESOME. Maybe Disney and Adness will collaborate someday.:anime:

Since we all know that both Kamen Rider and Power Rangers are gonna do well in America, maybe some other companies could try to cash in on this. Maybe some company could Americanize the two Tokusatsu shows from Tomy (Ryukendo and Tomica Hero Rescue Force) to compete with Kamen Rider and Power Rangers. :P

Rescue Force will compete with Power Rangers since they're both similar, and Ryukendo will compete with KRDK since Ryukendo is somewhat similar to the Heisei Kamen Riders. :P

If that happens and they continue with this direction, they'll be an unstoppable force.

Eddie Guzelian + The Wang Brothers = THE PERFECT COMBINATION! :buttrock:
