Marvel & DC Thread

so it seems had Spider-Man 4-6 happend, then we would have seen Pete loose his powers again, get them back, and then mutate into Man-Spider

Not neccersarily, the animated series did NOT inspire the Raimi movies, the Lee/Ditko/Romita snr runs on ASM did, and Peter lost his powers a good few times during those issues. He only mutated into the Man-Spider in a forgettable mid 90s comic, and it wasnt related to his neogenic crisis, that was an entirely original story written for the 1990s series. A lot of the 90s series is it's own thing, taking little inspiration from the classic comics, and when they do, they tweek them to suit their own agenda (as you'll find out when you reach season three, "Sins of the Father")

This. A good thing to understand about continuity these days is that it's still largely influenced by the 90s. Which was, as I understand it, pretty poorly monitored from an editing standpoint. Alot of ideas and things slipped into the continuity of various comics that most times just wouldn't fly if people were thinking straight. those days aren't so long ago, relatively speaking, so we've still got them to contend with when movies or animated things are done. They sorta muck up everything, but make everything a bit more interesting at the same time.

This season kicks my ass. Punisher, Kraven, and Morbius all join together to take on Man-Spider.

I LOLed @ Spidey cracking a joke at Wolverine saying "You sure showed him", and Wolvy replied with "Shut you you puny geek". It was jokes.

Well, he does thrash Sentinels.

I guess Fox & Saban didn't want kids running around with knives tapes to their fingers and slashing people.
