So, Ultimate Spider-man is only one you guys recommend... I'll definitely check it out when I go to the store book.

Anyone like Ultimate Avengers animated movie? I liked it and I thought it was cool.

I'd recommend at least reading The Ultimate 1 & 2. Plus the ultimate galactus trilogy:

Because Ultimates 3 is just really bland and bad and 360s the characters established in 1 & 2 completely. It's almost as if it's not the same book.

Because Millar has probably done more harm to superheroes than any of the Image founders. He tries for the depth of Alan Moore but he lacks the chops so all his books are gore filled vignettes punctuated with mind numbing tirades delivered by assholes. And it is this attitude which formed the basis of the Ultimate Universe and people have finally started to realize that it isn't fun, you know like the Wildstorm Universe.

I give millar credit for his first two ultimate works. Especially the part of the arc where we start to doubt whether Thor is a God or not.

Personally, I thought The Ultimates is pretty awesome. That doesn't bother me. I actually enjoy the Marvel Universe, too. Even tho, there are many alternative Earth in Marvel, just like DC. That also doesn't bother me. I don't care as long as I enjoy both.

Oh, and also, I recently read the first 13 issues of Ultimate Spider-Man. I thought it was awesome. I've been thinking about to buy this.
