Least favorite KR season

LOL, didn't you even wonder where that folding building from where Castle Doran always comes out of? And nobody seemed to notice it? It looked awesome in Decade though, since Castle Doran remained static in its place, which was cool since it looked like a foreboding monument.
Nope. I just chalked it up to children show zannyness.

Sash, you really don't know who that "one person" is that hates Kuuga? :sly:

You don't even notice the flame wars in the other threads in the past whenever that "one person" starts ranting about how much Kuuga sucks while evry1 jumps on top of that person's ass over their "claims."

It's an elementary fact that 90% of the HJU forum knows that ______ hates Kuuga (I won't reveal who it is since you're the only one that still doesn't know yet :P :loltongue: )
I don't....SHOW YOURSELF YOU BASTARD! SHOW YOURSELF SO WE CAN HAVE A CIVIL CONVERSATION YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!

The Kuuga thing reminds me of this thread. And that was 2008!

But you know, even if they're held up as shining examples now, Kuuga and Agito were themselves once thrown under the bus on a far more regular basis, as was Ryuki, Shin, BLACK RX, Skyrider, etc. I remember one of the big complaints of Kuuga being the lack of real on-site explosions- does anybody care about that now? Does anyone mind that Kuuga has so many bikes (and yes, people did count Rising BeatGouram and the TryChaser color-changes as different bikes once.) Does anyone still fast-forward through the plot scenes in Kuuga and Agito to get to the fightin'? That's fandom's changing attitudes for you. Almost every Rider has undergone some kind of reevaluation/re-appreciation since they debuted. Which is probably why I find it hard to pick a least favorite, I'm always thinking "Well actually, I did like that when..."
Just reading between the lines I can tell that Iga is trying to say Den-O is his favorite.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Den-O too, just wasn't really convinced that it was a Rider series other than being a medium for Seiji, Jiro, Eitoku, and Toshihiro to have fun and play around.

It was mostly a launching pad for Takeru Satoh and Yuriko Shiratori's careers. Not that either need help now.

i liked decade and i don't see what people dislike about it. I didn't like hibiki mainly because one the giant monsters the animation just didn't sit well with me and i didn't like the plot or a lot of the other stuff they did-this does not mean its bad i just didn't like it that much. However it could be a lot better than ozu depending on what they do, even though its not out yet it loses 500 points for doing the exact same thing as the previous rider and just doing more of it (i refer to the 3 medal system copying the 2 gaia memory style form changes) doing the exact same gimick as a previous season loses points in my book. The second is that the armor design for ozu is not very good looking. It looks like something that would have been produced during the showa era (showa era stuff was made when they didn't have as big a buget plus for their day and i respect this and their costumes are good, some of them are pritty cool even today.) comparing the ozu suit to kaubuto is like comparing a cheap mini cooper copy to a luxuray car worth 100 thousand dollars. I just find the design to be weak and the color system is painful to look at. Those colors do not work together.
However it could be saved by good writing and charater development so i will not judge it as bad but its first impression is not possitive.

And the tag line "A New Hero, A New Legend" confused me. Kamen Rider Rider is an old hero just one who took a break. That's like Tagging Ultraman Tiga with the tag line "A New Hero, A New Legend"

That's because Kuuga was the first of a new era of Kamen Riders.

That's because Kuuga was the first of a new era of Kamen Riders.

ishi sensai may not be producing it anymore but as long as Ishinomori productions are co producing KR the its not a new era its a continuation

im no Purist

as along as there the name Ishionomori connected with kr in a direct manner
it not a new ERA

Historical yes within the franchise no

Toku does not change Sentai did not Ultra did not KR did not

the emperor may have changed so the Era on the calendar has changed

this genre of entertainment has not
the Story Style of KR may have Changed but its stiil the KR franchise i grew up with that what i say Faiz may be Bad and it may may not have Tachibana any more but KR is and wiil always be KR
