Least favorite KR season

Now don't get me wrong, I loved Kuuga to death, but it does get alot more hype then it should. It's becoming the Cowboy Bebop or Godfather of the fandom, up to the point when someone even mentions something wrong with it they're flamed beyond belief.

While kuuga had a great cast of characters and characterization, great action sequences and a wonderful atmosphere, it was hampered by shallow plot developments and the rising forms disrupting the overall flow of the show. nothing was really explained about the Grongi, the Game, or the Kuuga belt to the veiwer and you were just supposed to except that thrown into your face. it was 46 episodes of build-up with the pay-off of a weak breeze.

People usually love to throw around that bandai loves to hamper modern shows with nothing but toys but Kuuga did the exact same thing but with the rising forms. Honestly, the rising forms were the lamest upgrades ever, the same exact suit but with gold trimmings on it. What made it worse was that episode after episode were focused on Kuuga getting those rising forms, which almost killed the show for me. Precious time which could be dealing with what the hells happening in the show was focused on him getting these new gold forms.

The worst part of it all though is that people usually state these about other shows and don't acknowledge Kuuga had them itself. It's just like how I get pissed off that people say New KR shows are Metal hero shows yet KR Black RX was the most metal hero-like show and was with Ishinomori's supervision, or that Metalders fine as a Metal Hero show while it was so unbelievably different then the past incarnations but Faiz is too different to be a KR show.

Do I hate Kuuga? no, but I'm not going to go and say Kuuga was flawless and absolutely perfect and that it's not overrated.

But I do however, felt like the introductions of the rising forms were done much better than say, Trinity Form or Faiz Axel. Granted, every time Agito gained a secondary form, it's just "Agito evolved again"
